Drivers side door handle, chrome outer piece cover broke. One afternoon, i went as always to open my car door and snap, the chrome cover on the drivers side door handle broke and the chrome piece for the locking mechanism fell-off as well. Door lock froze to due the cold weather. Nissan rogue was in a garage when the incident occurred. This same problem has happened the last 3 years and nissan has always fixed the problem until now.
