The airbag sensor on the passenger side has been diagnosed by a nissan dealership as inoperable and needs to be replaced. The car has only 58k miles on it. Clearly the fence from the first recall which effected thousands of other 2014-2017 nissan rogues needs to be expanded. A passenger sitting in the front passenger position of the car is not going to be protected by frontal airbags.

The air bag light comes on sometimes when someone sets in the seat. If you raise your butt up it will go out. The other thing is the seatbelt on that same seat will lock into place and you can't lean forward to reach the radio, etc or any other buttons on the middle of the dash.
